IT Senior Support Specialist

Role Summary

Delivers advanced technical support across client environments, handling complex issues, system administration tasks, and infrastructure support. Acts as a key escalation point and technical resource for the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced remote and onsite IT support
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues
  • Support and maintain LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and servers
  • Administer backup and disaster recovery systems
  • Document work and maintain technical knowledge base
  • Perform audits, monitoring, and system optimization
  • Collaborate with engineers and lead technical problem-solving
  • Ensure SLA/XLA standards are consistently met

Qualifications

  • Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace
  • Advanced networking knowledge (routing, switching, firewalls)
  • Experience with Windows Server and IT management tools
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience

IT Support Specialist

Role Summary

Provides frontline IT support to clients, handling service requests, routine maintenance, and basic infrastructure support. Ensures systems are secure, documented, and running efficiently while escalating complex issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver remote and onsite technical support
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and printers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely manner
  • Document work, time, and expenses in the ticketing system
  • Communicate solutions clearly to non-technical users
  • Perform recurring audits and maintenance tasks
  • Follow ticketing SOPs, SLAs, and escalation processes
  • Support senior technicians with projects and installations

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with PCs, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Workspace)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • 2-year degree or equivalent experience
